Who can use Flante right now?
The paid pilot is invitation-only for currently enrolled Mercer University students with a confirmed @mercer.edu or @live.mercer.edu email. Students elsewhere can join the broader-access list.
How do I start or manage a subscription?
Open the account menu in Flante. Invited students can start the seven-day trial there; existing subscribers can open Paddle’s secure account portal to cancel, update payment details, or review billing.
What does Flante cost?
$14.99 per month for the first 12 paid months after a seven-day trial. The standard $19.99 monthly price applies afterward. Tax may be added where required.
Which Mac do I need?
Flante supports macOS 14 Sonoma or later on Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
Which files can I import?
Reading guides can be DOCX, PDF, TXT, Markdown, or RTF. Course resources can also include PowerPoint files, and you can paste permitted text excerpts.
Does Flante replace my course material?
No. Flante organizes and explains the material you provide. When it uses qualified external literature to fill an evidence gap, that material is clearly labeled.
Where are my imported files stored?
Imported text and extracted figures are stored locally on your Mac. Relevant excerpts and a limited set of figures are securely sent to the generation service when needed.
Can I recover interrupted work?
Completed notes, jobs, and generation passes can recover for seven days. Flante avoids silently paying for or repeating a pass that has already started.
How does Flante work with Anki?
Install AnkiConnect using code 2055492159, restart Anki Desktop, and choose Find Anki Cards. Flante matches cards from decks you select, measures objective coverage, and creates reviewable new cards for the uncovered parts.
How do I delete my account?
Open the Account menu in Flante and choose Delete Account. Flante first cancels any active subscription, then removes your account, server-side generation records, and local workspace data. Files you exported remain yours, and minimum transaction records may be retained where legally required.
